Hi. How you been? Missed me? I haven’t been here for two months. That doesn’t seem like that long, but I suppose it is.
I reckon loads of stuff has happened but none of it’s terribly exciting, really. Instead of telling you about the minutia of my life I’m going to tell you about music, stuff I’m working on, stuff I’m struggling with and stuff I’m planning to do.
I’ve been listening to loads of soundcloud stuff (as usual) but go on little rabbit hole journeys into other artist’s worlds by clicking on people who’ve remixed stuff I like, or people who like stuff I like and so on. Most of it’s great — other stuff is just weird. I really like Seven Lions who remixed some Paul Van Dyke stuff.

I’m struggling with being kind to myself – but that’s every fucking day. I want to get fitter and be better to myself, but that’s every fucking day too. So instead of getting myself down about how much of a pile of dung my life is, I decided to start with the things I can change — right now — to make something happen.
So I’m joining a boxing gym, a choir, I already attend a yoga studio and I’m going to scale the faces of rocks once a fortnight, just to mix it up a bit. Fitness shall come and in the meantime I’m going to keep working, keep hanging out with my friends, keep writing and keep breathing.
I’m planning to go overseas again soon, October (I just wrote Cocktober. Whoops! Hehe) to South America and Thailand before that. Cannot WAIT and need to start saving for that wee jaunt.
Other than that I suppose I’ll be posting on this blog again pretty regularly, try to find some interesting stuff to write about so you don’t all perish of boredom, though I suppose once we start shooting it’ll be pretty interesting to post updates… Stay tuned xx SP
